General Information |
The language of instruction at Balıkesir University Faculty of Law is Turkish. Our students pursue an undergraduate program consisting of four (4) years of legal education, corresponding to the standard period of study. The Faculty’s academic staff is composed of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Research Assistants. Within the undergraduate curriculum, students take courses offered by the departments of public law and private law. In addition, the program includes interdisciplinary areas of law, thereby ensuring a more qualified, dynamic, and up-to-date legal education. Through the education they receive at Balıkesir University Faculty of Law, students are expected to acquire knowledge of fundamental legal concepts, develop the ability to apply research methods in the field of law, and attain the competence to determine the rights and obligations of parties in the face of legal disputes. Furthermore, they are encouraged to appreciate the significance of individual and social justice and to engage in professional activities that contribute to Turkish law in accordance with universal legal principles. |
