Publication Success in an SSCI Q1 Journal by Our Research Assistant
The
article titled “The Elephant in the Room: A Global Mechanism for E-Sport
Disputes”, co-authored by our Research Assistant Aybüke Keskin, Dr. Serkan Kaya
(Boğaziçi University), and Dr. Eda Şahin-Şengül (Bath Spa University, United
Kingdom), has been published in Computer Law & Security Review, one of the
leading journals in the field of technology and law.
Indexed
in the SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index) and ranked in the Q1 category,
this study explores alternative solutions offered by blockchain technology for
resolving legal disputes arising in the rapidly growing e-sports industry. In
particular, the article analyzes the potential of online arbitration and smart
contracts in addressing e-sport disputes.
