The
conference on “Personal Data Protection” organized by the Information
Technology Law Application and Research Center of Istanbul Medipol University
was held on October 1, 2025. The conference featured a presentation by Dr.
Eşref Barış Börekçi, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, Balıkesir
University. Approximately 100 attendees participated in this event, which was
organized for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law. Participants had
the opportunity to learn about the current legal framework and practices
regarding the protection of personal data.
