Moot Courts conducted at the Faculty of Law

As part
of the Civil Procedure Law course at Balıkesir University Faculty of Law, moot courts
were conducted in accordance with the summary procedure. The sessions took
place in the Faculty’s Moot Courtroom under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr.
Ali Çetin Aslan and Research Assistant Yaren Nisa Öztay.
In one
moot court, a consumer law dispute concerning the seller’s liability for latent
defects was adjudicated. Student Deniz Öğe acted as the presiding judge of the
consumer court; students Şule Koç and Ceylin Nur Soyuslu served as plaintiff’s
counsel; and students Esma Sudenaz Aksay and Begüm Doğan served as defendant’s
counsel.
