Legal Seminars for Exchange Students from Bosnia and Herzegovina
Our
Faculty of Law hosted a series of legal seminars for exchange students from
Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering a broad introduction to various aspects of the
Turkish legal system. The programme featured three sessions on the first day.
In the
morning session, our Dean, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yasan, delivered a seminar titled
“Modernisation of Turkish Commercial Law”, discussing the transformation of
commercial law in Turkey. This was followed by Research Assistant Aybüke
Keskin’s seminar on “Digitalisation in Turkish Company Law”, which examined the
impact of digitalisation from a comparative legal perspective. The final
session of the day was presented by our Vice Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Semih Batur
Kaya, who delivered a comprehensive overview titled “Fundamental Principles of
Turkish Constitutional Law”.
The sessions encouraged comparative dialogue, with students also sharing examples from their own legal systems, creating a rich environment for international academic exchange.
