Law Faculty Students Carry Out Their First Courthouse Visit of the Semester

On February 24, 2025, students of Balıkesir University Faculty of Law conducted the first courthouse visit of the Spring Semester as part of the  Legal Clinics course. Under the supervision of Research Assistant Nisanur Önay, students had the opportunity to observe hearings and meet directly with judges and prosecutors working at the courthouse. Further courthouse visits will be conducted throughout the semester under the guidance of different faculty members.

This experience enabled students to apply their theoretical legal knowledge in practice while also observing the judicial process firsthand. The Legal Clinics course, through courthouse visits and trial observations, not only connects students with the practice of law but also provides them with an applied education model that allows them to work on real legal issues and develop solutions.
