Önay participated as a speaker in the 10
December Human Rights Day National Symposium II, jointly
organized by Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Law
and the Human Rights Research and Application
Center, with her paper entitled “The Legal Value of
Housing: A Reinterpretation of the ‘Adequate Housing’ Standard.”
