BAUN Faculty of Law Hosted the Conference on "Current Issues in Private Law"
Balıkesir
University (BAUN) Faculty of Law organized a conference titled “Current Issues
in Private Law – I”.
The
conference, held at the BAUN Hasan Basri Çantay Conference Hall, was attended
by Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. Mustafa
Yasan, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Mehmet Özkan, along with
academics and students.
The
opening speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yasan, Dean of the Faculty of
Law. Presentations included “Share Transfer in Joint Stock Companies” by Prof.
Dr. Hanife Öztürk Akkartal (Balıkesir University Faculty of Law), “Two Current
Issues: The Court of Cassation’s Decisions on Excess (Additional) Damages and
the Evaluation of Advance Title Deed Decisions” by Prof. Dr. Şahin Akıncı
(Istanbul Commerce University Faculty of Law), and “Common Misconceptions in
Civil Procedure” by Prof. Dr. Ali Cem Budak.
The
conference concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to
the speakers by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yasan, followed by a group photo session.
