UN-Certified Judicial Conduct and Ethics Training for Law Faculty Students
We are
excited to announce the third edition of the YESLEARN program this year. In the
first two editions, with the invaluable support of our coordinators, 433
students from 11 law faculties across Turkey participated in the training, and
131 students successfully passed the exam, earning the UN Judicial Conduct and
Ethics Certificate.
The UN
Judicial Ethics Training Program has been developed by the United Nations
Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) with support from experts from diverse legal
traditions, aiming to effectively implement:
-the
Bangalore Principles of Judicial Conduct, adopted unanimously by all UN member
states, and
-Article
11 of the UN Convention against Corruption (concerning the prevention of
corruption in the judiciary).
Program
