Notice to Students: About Internet Access
To
connect to our university’s internet network (in laboratories or via wireless
access), you must have an account in the BAUN Identity System. Students newly
enrolled in our university have been registered in this system passively. All
students are required to activate their accounts and create a password by
completing the following steps:
Open the
website http://kimlik2019.balikesir.edu.tr
and click on the 'New Registration' menu.
Enter your Turkish ID number and Student Number. (For international students,
enter a number starting with 98 or 99 instead of a Turkish ID number.)
On the
opened screen, click the 'SEARCH' or 'ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT' button.
Fill in
your phone and e-mail information on the form to activate your account.
Using
the password provided on the page confirming that your account is active, log
in at the same address and select 'Update My Password' to create your own
password.
IMPORTANT
NOTE:
Internet
accounts are personal. Do not share your Turkish ID number and password with
anyone else.
Do not
leave shared devices without logging out of your internet account. You can log
out using the exit button on our website www.balikesir.edu.tr
